Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord!
Music is a vital element to our worship, and the musicians of Melrose Chapel delight in offering their talent to assist in and enrich worship. We nurture growth and foster opportunity for all ages to be actively involved in musical ministry.
Adult Music Ministries
Music elements in worship range from hymn-singing to simple chants to the presentation of special music. Melrose Chapel’s repertoire consists of music from our Wesleyan heritage, classic choral music, as well as modern arrangements. The Chancel Choir regularly sings an anthem during worship and monthly our adult handbell ensemble, the Chapel Chimes, who use a newly refinished three-octave set of handbells, play during worship. In-between, worship is blessed by a variety of soloists, instrumental offerings, and other special music offerings from musicians within our congregation.

Melrose Chapel is blessed with a joyful choir for children preschool and up. The childrenʼs choir rehearse weekly on Sunday mornings. As they progress in the program, all have the opportunity to learn beginning music and vocal skills. The children’s choir leads special music in worship on a regular basis as well as for special services throughout the year.
